News / Farewell to military honors

Last farewell to the Vice-President of the EUU acad. soch. Štefan Pelikán took place in his hometown of Lietavská Lúčka on December 2, 2020. The coffin with the deceased artist was covered with the national flag of the Slovak Republic and on the last trip he was accompanied by the honor guard of the 5th Elite Special Purpose Regiment of the Slovak Army. To the sound of honorary military salvos over the grave of Master Štefan Pelikán, mourning speeches were given by prominent members of the EUU, prof. Jozef Leikert and Mgr. Fedor Mikovic. Honor his memory.
