Human Society / Lux in tenebris - 2007

Slovak castle Lednica in the White Carpathians been a silent witness to meetings and debates of two great Europeans. Teacher of nations, and the last bishop of the Unity of Brethren in Bohemia, Jan Amos Comenius and his friend Nicholas Drabik here to prepare publication of the book of historical prophecy and hope for the end of the Habsburg recatholisation and intellectual and economic devastation of the Czech lands and Moravia. Their hopes were fulfilled only after many centuries. Solemn reminder and the unveiling of a commemorative plaque was prepared president of EUA Petr Vasicek and vice president of EUA Bernard Louis Martin.
